Abstract:: <abstract abstract-type="main" xml:lang="en"> <title>Abstract</title> <p>The reaction of dithioacetals with excess aqueous hydrogen peroxide in the presence of catalytic amounts of iron(III) acetylacetonate and sodium iodide efficiently produces the corresponding carbonyl compounds in high yields.</p> </abstract>
