- <abstract abstract-type="main" xml:lang="en"> <title>Abstract</title> <p>Nanocrystals of Co<sub>x</sub>Cu<sub>1‐x</sub>Cr<sub>2</sub>S<sub>4</sub> are prepared over the entire composition range by reaction of appropriate amounts of CuCl<sub>2</sub>, CoCl<sub>2</sub>, and CrCl<sub>3</sub> in the presence of octadecylamine (360 °C, N<sub>2</sub> atmosphere) followed by injection of 1‐dodecanethiol and further heating for 1 h.</p> </abstract>
