- <abstract abstract-type="main" xml:lang="en"> <title>Abstract</title> <p>Eu‐doped CsAlSi<sub>2</sub>O<sub>6</sub> is synthesized by sol‐gel treatment of a stoichiometric mixture of CsNO<sub>3</sub>, Al(NO<sub>3</sub>)<sub>3</sub>, Si(OEt)<sub>4</sub>, Eu<sub>2</sub>O<sub>3</sub>, and citric acid as chelating agent (100 °C, 2 h) followed by gel drying and subsequent heating in air (1300 °C, 5—10 h) or thermal reduction in H<sub>2</sub>/N<sub>2</sub> atmosphere.</p> </abstract>
