- <abstract abstract-type="main" xml:lang="en"> <title>Abstract</title> <p>Two organically‐templated Bi sulfates [H<sub>2</sub>DABCO][Bi(SO<sub>4</sub>)<sub>2</sub>(NO<sub>3</sub>)] (I) (DABCO: 1, 4‐diazabicyclo[2.2.2]octane) and [H<sub>2</sub>pip]<sub>4</sub> [Bi<sub>4</sub>(SO<sub>4</sub>)<sub>10</sub>(H<sub>2</sub>O)<sub>4</sub>] (II) (pip: piperazine) with open architecture are prepared from a mixture of Bi(NO<sub>3</sub>)<sub>3</sub>, H<sub>2</sub>O, H<sub>2</sub>SO<sub>4</sub>, and DABCO or piperazine (air, 25 °C, 1 month, yields of 80 and 73%, resp.).</p> </abstract>
