<abstract abstract-type="main" xml:lang="en"> <title>Abstract</title> <p>Single crystals of SnS (I), SnS₂ (II), and Sn₂S₃ (III) are grown by chemical vapor transport using stoichiometric amounts of Sn and S and I₂ as transport agent (evacuated silica ampule, 950→850 °C for (I), 850→600 °C for (II), and 650→500 °C for (III)).</p> </abstract>
