- <abstract abstract-type="main" xml:lang="en"> <title>Abstract</title> <p>Zn<sub>0.9</sub>Fe<sub>0.1</sub>O (I) and Zn<sub>0.9</sub>Co<sub>0.1</sub>O (II) nanoparticles are prepared from their respective aqueous gluconate hydrates in a sucrose solution followed by H<sub>2</sub>O evaporation, drying at 300 °C, and calcination in air (450 °C, 3 h).</p> </abstract>
