Abstract:: <abstract abstract-type="main" xml:lang="en"> <title>Abstract</title> <p>The novel [8 + 3]‐cycloaddition reaction between tropone derivatives (I) and aminocyclopropane (II) catalyzed by SnCl<sub>4</sub> results in the formation of amino‐substituted tetrahydrocyclohepta[b]pyrans (III) with complete regio‐ and diastereoselectivity.</p> </abstract>
