Abstract

<abstract abstract-type="main" id="sim5931-abs-0001"> <title> <x xml:space="preserve">Abstract</x> </title> <p>Lin's concordance correlation coefficient (CCC) is a very popular scaled index of agreement used in applied statistics. To obtain a confidence interval (CI) for the estimate of CCC, jackknifing was proposed and shown to perform well in simulation as well as in applications. However, a theoretical proof of the validity of the jackknife CI for the CCC has not been presented yet. In this note, we establish a sufficient condition for using the jackknife method to construct the CI for the CCC. Copyright © 2013 John Wiley &amp; Sons, Ltd.</p> </abstract>
