- Effects of depression and PTSD symptoms on HRQOL were analyzed in 545 treatment-seeking veterans. Depression predicted all HRQOL domains, and modified the effect of PTSD on HRQOL. PTSD symptoms did not predict mental HRQOL declines in those with more severe depression symptoms. 2
